Soap for Hope - YYC

Soap for Hope YYC is a program of Disaster Aid Canada. We provide hygiene products to local shelters and community outreach programs as well as to assist in International Relief efforts. We are a project of the Rotary Club of Ladysmith.

We work with hotels and West Jet. Our Caring Community Partner program collects gently used amenities from hotels. We reprocess these products and create Hygiene Kits. Each kit has a bar of soap, individual bottle of shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion. Soap for Hope YYC started a Hampers of Hope program to help people that are transitioning from living in a shelter to their own home. These hampers are filled with full sized hygiene products, cleaning supplies, and other items needed to make a clean start in their new life. Monthly donations allow us to put these hampers together and deliver them to the recipient.
